9/11 and the Aftermath
In the aftermath surrounding the 9/11 tragedies, it seemed as if everyone had a different theory as to what exactly happened. In my research paper, I will explore all the different conspiracy theories and try to discover why exactly people tried to explain it all away. I will also use political cartoons from that time period to illustrate the different theories.

Stem cell research
I am taking on the controversal topic: STEM CELL RESEARCH. I will research the medical effects and how people feel about this research. I will interview people who are for/against the research and I will develop a medical/scientific persona in my paper. I will also research the reasons to why people have a negative attitude towards scientific discovery in general.
My topic that I am going to talk about in my research paper is about how the media persuades people untruthfully by using false statistics and manipulating them into what they want people to think. I will also talk about how the media is so biased and they use opinions more than facts, especially in politics.

“If a machine can be created that has intelligence, could it also feel? If it can feel, does it have the same rights as a human being?” -Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. As AI becomes more advanced, the issue of “robot rights” arises. I’m not sure yet which side I’m on this topic, but for my paper I will research to make sure the technology is capably of this, then argue for or against the rights.

My topic for my research paper is going to be whether Global Warming is man-made or just part of nature changing, and if it's man-made what the solutions are to stop it.
I will be researching hybrid cars. I will report whether or not they are good for the environment and if they are actually better for everyday life than the other cars. Also, if hybrid is the new era of the future for cars.
